Gosh.... thank God that this "kissin Lakua thing" was only a daydream! I dipped down to sip from the stream beneath my feet. I started to run again and skidded to a halt. Sniffing the air I smell fresh scents from other- " VAMPIRES!!", I murmured under my breath. I dipped down under a bush or I can put it this way: in my brain I was jumping up and down all excited in a screaming frenzy!
I hear a crack on the other side of the trees, while I got up I felt a presence behind me, whipping my head around I see a massive- but not massive as in compared to werewolves- vampire standing over me. Its as if my shadow had come to life! He grabs me by the arm and jerks me toward an opening to the other side of trees. " Why... do you have to disturb a perfectly good game of football you... you....... mortal!?", he asks me- I guess. When we appear in the clearing all the rest of the massive vampires family is waiting for me to come back.
Later on I now know the names of the family. Buka, Lex, Emma, Kiro, Kris, Kira, and Robert. Buka is the big vamp and Lex is his wife. Emma and Kiro are married but Kiro is a newborn. Kris and Kira are like the parents of the family. Robert is just a single vampire with strong independent personality. " Let me go!", I scream, Buka lets go but is still tense to see if I run.
"You guys are vampires?", I ask. the all nod." Well, that means I fit right in.", at that instant I slam my fist into Buka's chest, he flinches and falls backward. I grab his neck and lift him up in the air. " You touch me again and I'll rip you to shreds", I growl. They are all in wide eyed shock- except Robert. " So your a vampire. Well do you have a "family" like us?", I nodded no. "Kris? Doyou think this strong independent vampire can join our family?", he looks at Kris and I smile. Robert has some common sense that I'm more dangerous than Buka. " Why not? Cullens? Meet the new Luna Cullen!", Kris introduces me! Finally, a new vampire family!
